About the FAST Family PTO

Our mission is to enrich your child’s experience. We focus on fundraising and building a strong school community to enhance educational opportunities for all FAST students.

PTO funds bring learning to life—supporting PTO funding enriches every student’s experience through grants for learning tools, enrichment programs, and library resources. We support the Learning Garden, building improvements, updated curriculum materials, and classroom needs that inspire curiosity and success.

 

Our Mission: Teachers

Happy teachers make for a happy school! We show our appreciation with a Welcome Back Luncheon, monthly treats, snack carts, stocked lounges, $200 supply gifts, classroom grants, and special Staff Appreciation Week celebrations.

 

Our Mission: Community

We bring families together and create lasting memories through events like Popsicles with the Principals, Bingo Nights, Trunk or Treat, Spirit Nights, Dances, and the International Arts Festival, and more!

The Parent Teacher Organization's (FAST Family PTO) objective is to enrich the education of FAST students and enhance the efforts of the school staff by promoting relationships and involvement as well as utilizing the talents and resources of our families, teachers, school, and community.

The FAST Family PTO is a non-profit organization, composed of volunteers,
focused on supporting the educational experience of ALL FAST students.

Helpful Reminders from the PTO (FAQs)

Membership must be renewed each year.

If you joined last school year, please remember that PTO membership is valid for one school year only and must be renewed annually.

 

Volunteering is always appreciated, but never required.

While you’re not obligated to volunteer, your time and support help make our events and programs successful. Every bit of help makes a difference!

 

We have two General PTO meetings each year.

One meeting is held during Curriculum Night to vote on the budget, and the second takes place at a Spring event to elect the new PTO Board. We’d love to see you there!

 

The PTO is a separate non-profit organization from the School.

Although we work closely with the school, the FAST Family PTO operates independently to support our students and school community. The FAST Family PTO is a non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) classification from the Internal Revenue Service. Your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law.
