About the FAST Family PTO

The FAST Family PTO is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the educational experience of every FAST student. Through fundraising, family involvement, and community partnerships, we support programs and opportunities that help our school thrive.

Our Mission

The FAST Family PTO works to enrich the education of FAST students and support the efforts of our teachers and staff by fostering strong relationships and utilizing the talents and resources of our families, school, and community.

Supporting Students

PTO funding helps bring learning to life. We provide academic grants, classroom resources, enrichment programs, library materials, curriculum support, and campus improvements that inspire curiosity and success. We are also proud to support initiatives like the Learning Garden and other projects that enhance the student experience.

Supporting Teachers

We believe happy teachers help create a happy school. The PTO supports our staff through classroom grants, supply gifts, stocked lounges, monthly treats, appreciation events, and special celebrations throughout the year.

Building Community

Creating connections and lasting memories is an important part of our mission. Throughout the year, the PTO brings families together through events such as Popsicles with the Principals, Bingo Nights, Trunk or Treat, Spirit Nights, dances, the International Arts Festival, and many other activities that strengthen our school community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to renew my membership each year?

Yes. PTO memberships are valid for one school year and must be renewed annually.

Am I required to volunteer?

No. Volunteering is always appreciated but never required. Whether you give your time, talents, or financial support, every contribution makes a difference.

How often does the PTO meet?

The FAST Family PTO holds two General Membership meetings each year. One meeting is held during Curriculum Night to approve the annual budget, and a second meeting is held in the spring to elect the new PTO Board.

Is the PTO part of the school?

No. While we work closely with FAST administration and staff, the FAST Family PTO operates independently as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Support Our Mission

The Membership Drive is the PTO's largest fundraiser and provides the resources needed to support students, teachers, and family programs throughout the year.

When you join the PTO, you are helping fund classroom grants, teacher appreciation initiatives, educational resources, and community events that benefit every FAST family. Members also have a voice in how funds are used and help shape the future of our organization.
